CAY HILL:--- Kooyman employees and their families were invited to experience "Discovery Farm" the newest addition to the Seaside Nature Park, last Sunday November 16th 2014.
As a proud sponsor, Kooyman together with Discovery Farm organized a family day for Kooyman and Discovery Farm staff to commemorate the launch of the farm, which was symbolized during the official opening of the miniature pigs paddock. "Kooyman has been instrumental in the construction of the building of the various animal paddocks and will continue to actively support Discovery Farm as the project progresses." said Kooyman, Commercial Officer, Evencia – Carty Seabrookes.
"Discovery Farm is unique to St. Maarten, providing a space for kids to interact with miniature animals as there are a number of social benefits that are linked to kid's interaction with animals, further improving their social and comprehensive skills." said Wendy Visser, Discovery Farm, Project Director.
All families present got the opportunity to interact with the miniature animals, enjoy pony rides, work on some great arts a craft and just simply experience the nature of the farm.
Earlier this year, Kooyman donated a sum of 10,000. ANG towards the construction of the Discovery Farm, and his been an active partner in realizing the project with the team at Seaside Nature Park. The team at Seaside Nature park looks forward to officially launching Discovery Farm to the public of St. Maarten come January 2015.
