SUCKER GARDEN:--- The Walichi Basketball Association (WBA) & Motorworld and Jeep Presents Ladies Basketball Championship games continued last weekend and started off with a Saturday game between Cash 4 Gold Lava Girls and Bush Tea Remedy
Cash 4 Gold Lava Girls started off strong and lead 25-6 after the first quarter a never looked back and won the game 80 to 37.
Cash 4 Gold Lava Girls was lead by Motorworld Player Of The Game Claudia Fleming with a Triple Double of 13 Points, 13 Rebounds, 11 assists and even had 5 Steals. She was supported by Selah Fleming with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Diasha Ferdinand with 21 points, 6 assists and 5 Steals.
Bush Tea Remedy was lead by Keri Hyman with 21 Points and 4 assists and she was supported by Cardillia Nicholas with 8 points and 8 rebounds and Cresencia Brown who pulled down 12 rebounds.
Second Game on Sunday was between the #1 seed Thunderz and #2 seed Cash 4 Gold Lava Girls. The game was tight throughout the whole game, each time leading by no more than 2 points untill Thunderz got a lead of 5 heading into the fourth quarter. Cash 4 Gold Lava Girls tied the game up at 31-31, got the lead and never gave it up and ended the game on a 10-2 run and won 41-33.
Cash 4 Gold Lava Girls was lead by Motorworld Player Of The Game Wendy Jack who had 11 points, 15 rebounds and 3 assists. She was supported by Claudia Fleming with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Thunderz was lead by Joyette Lloyd with 14 points, 15 rebounds and 5 Assists and Chantel Hodge with 12 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 Steals.
After week 13, Cash 4 Gold Lava Girls move into first place, standings are Cash 4 Gold Lava Girls 12-2, Thunderz at 11-3, MGM Lightning 9-5, Learning Unlimited 2-11 and Bush Tea Remedy 1-13.
Games continue this weekend on Saturday as Thunderz take on MGM Lightning at 6pm. On Sunday at 3pm Cash 4 Gold Lava Girls go up against Thunderz and at 5pm Learning Unlimited go up against Bush Tea Remedy.
