On March 24, 2015, 11 volunteers from the U.S. Forward Operating Location (USFOL) visited Curaҫao's Animal Shelter (Dierenasiel) to assist with grooming 21 dogs and five puppies. The volunteers devoted two-and-a-half hours grooming and socializing the animals. Dierenasiel Curaҫao provides dogs and cats a safe home until a forever home is found.
The FOL involvement with organizations such as this demonstrates their eagerness for community involvement and their long standing appreciation for the hospitality received from the citizens of Curaҫao.
