On June 9, 2015, nine volunteers from the U.S. Forward Operating Location (USFOL) visited the Siloam Orphanage to deliver 100 pounds of donated goods. The volunteers devoted three hours clearing ground to build a soccer field, as well as interacting and playing with the children.
Siloam Orphanage provides for children with a variety of needs–from toddlers who have been abandoned to children who have mental and physical disabilities.
An activity such as this demonstrates USFOL’s eagerness for community involvement and their long standing appreciation for the hospitality received from the citizens of Curaçao.
