PHILIPSBURG:--- NV GEBE in its efforts to continue to improve services to its customers, has organized an information session for the residents of Hope Estate, Guana Bay, Sucker Garden, Dawn Beach/Oyster Pond, and Over the Pond for Thursday, September 17.
The information session is being held at the Senior Citizens Recreational Center from 7.00am to 9.00pm in Hope Estate.
Residents will get the opportunity to learn from department heads about new projects that the company is working on in order to continue to improve services to the customer and the community.
The information session also allows those in attendance to ask various questions to the department heads that would be present. Questions can be about the Cay Bay Power Plant to customer bills etc.
Department heads will give a presentation about current services such as billing cycles; payment of bills; important information for seniors 62+; the companies new website and how to login; the reading of electricity bills with respect to kilowatt hours and the fuel clause; water production and distribution; the new electrical and digital water meters; the SMART City Concept which includes the TelEm Group of Companies; street lights; the electrical production facility; trenching and much more.
The information evening will be very informative and residents of the aforementioned areas are invited to come out and be informed, and also use the opportunity to ask questions and get additional information regarding the national electricity company.
