Pond Island:--- TelEm Group has announced that technicians will be working on a fault detected on company’s backup power supply located at the Earth Station, Pond Island, with possible loss of internet, mobile roaming and mobile data service.
The schedule of work is from 6:00 am until 8:00 am Friday morning.
Technicians plan to bypass power connections so that telecommunication equipment located at the Earth Station can continue to operate normally, however, in the event power has to be taken off, customer connections may be affected.
TelEm Group says work on the backup power supply is very important to ensure continuity of service in the event of a loss of GEBE power and has meantime apologized to its customers for any inconvenience caused.
