Two arrested for suspicion of Robbery in Guana Bay.(UPDATED)

PHILIPSBURG:--- Police arrested two suspects they believed committed a robbery at a home in Guana Bay Wednesday morning. The two suspects tried to escape by heading towards Pointe Blanche area but police manage to catch up with them and even fired a warning shot in the process of trying to catch the suspects.
Police Spokesman Ricardo Henson confirmed that two suspects were arrested by police after a chase on the suspicion of robbery. Henson said police chased the suspects who tried escaping towards the Pointe Blanche area but they managed to capture the suspects. Henson also confirmed that police fired a warning shot during the chase in order to stop the suspects.

Police arrested two men in the Guana Bay/ Red Pond area on Wednesday December 2nd at approximately 12.30 p.m. The arrest took place after the Emergency Dispatch received several calls concerning two or three men who were in the area probably breaking in to homes. This call came in from a concerned citizen who stayed on the line with the Emergency Dispatch who directed the investigating officers to the spot where these men were hiding. The two suspects with initials D.G. (42) and K.T. (28) did not want to come out of their hiding spot at which time a warning shot was fired by police. The suspects were arrested shortly and taken to the Philipsburg Police Station where they remain in custody for further investigation.
