PHILIPSBURG:--- On Wednesday December 2nd at approximately 12.30 p.m. during a routine control by the Multi Disciplinary Team, a grey Kia Sportage jeep was stopped in the Guana Bay road. During the control of the vehicle the officers saw that the drive had 3.5 feet long stainless steel sword stuck between the seats of the vehicle. The driver could not give a acceptable explanation why he was driving around with that weapon. The sword was confiscated and the driver given a fine after he was explained about the illegal act he had committed.
