PHILIPSBURG:--- St. Maarten Laboratory Services, (SLS) joined in partnership with SCELL, the University of St. Martin School of Continuing Education and Life-Long Learning to illustrate their commitment to Education to the St. Maarten community last week with an undisclosed financial contribution. The organization commended The University of St. Martin for establishing SCELL and consistently pursuing the university’s determination to build human capital on the island of St. Maarten.
Mrs. Adelena Schaap, Human Resources Manager of SLS stated: We are proud to contribute financially to help further and develop SCELL. We believe that SCELL’s training opportunities are viable and are much needed in all organizations on the island. When employees receive training they are empowered and perform better in their daily jobs. We have also decided to hire SCELL to provide approximately 20+ trainings for our valued employees. We are confident that the training investment will ensure that the members of the community who visit SLS will receive an enhanced level of customer service and appreciation once the trainings are completed.
