PHILIPSBURG:--- A beach boy operating at Great Bay was stabbed on Wednesday by another Jamaican national. According to information reaching SMN News the incident occurred around 3:10pm on Wednesday. SMN News learnt that the beach workers had some dispute which ended in a stabbing. Eyewitnesses said the victim was taken to the St. Maarten Medical Center for treatment while the suspect was arrested by police. Efforts made to reach Police Spokesman Ricardo Henson on Wednesday for comment on this case proved futile. Press Prosecutor Karola Van Nie confirmed that a suspect in the lastest stabbing was arrested. Van Nie also said that the victim suffered minor injuries.
