PHILIPSBURG:--- On Wednesday the President of Parliament Hon. drs. Gracita Arrindell visited the Dr. Luther Martin King Jr. School in Dutch Quarter on the occasion of Black History month.
"I was excited to be invited to spend some time with the school as the students and teachers performed several beautiful skits and recited poems.
"Having the opportunity to share with the young ones what the remembrance of the month can mean to them from the historic perspective of Sint Maarten achieving its new status, as well was special.
"I thank the school management, especially teacher Richardson for their invitation and making this day a memorable one for the school," President of Parliament Hon. Gracita Arrindell said on Wednesday.
