PHILIPSBURG:--- Leader of the United Peoples Party and Member of Parliament Rolando Brison in concluding his presentation on Thursday during the country’s budget debate quoted biblical scripture specifically 1st Kings 3-16 when addressing the political situation and his recent encounter when he was arrested last week Friday on allegations of bribery. Brison read the situation King Solomon faced when he was confronted by two mothers that claimed the same child, as he said that some people would just like to watch the world burn just to fit their own political agenda.
He also quoted an abstract from Kevin Arsceneaux from Temple University Pennsylvania Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B which states that some “People form political attitudes to serve psychological needs. Recent research shows that some individuals have a strong desire to incite chaos when they perceive themselves to be marginalized by society. These individuals tend to see chaos as a way to invert the power structure and gain social status in the process. Analyzing data drawn from large-scale representative surveys conducted in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States, identify the prevalence of the need for chaos across Anglo-Saxon societies. Using Latent Profile Analysis, we explore whether different subtypes underlie the uni-dimensional construct and find evidence that some people may be motivated to seek out chaos because they want to rebuild society, while others enjoy destruction for its own sake. We demonstrate that chaos-seekers are not a unified political group but a divergent set of malcontents. Multiple pathways can lead individuals to ‘want to watch the world burn’.

Brison said he will not stop because he knew what he signed up for and that whatever is taking place involved the same group of people.
On Wednesday Brison warned everyone about a fake social media account specifically a fake Instagram account, he made clear that he never solicited anything from anyone through any form of social media.
