On the Morning of Friday the 20th of April, 2012 the Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams held a meeting with the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis the Honorable Denzil Douglas at PJIA. Prime Minister Douglas overnighted on St. Maarten on his way his way to Washington for an International Monetary Fund (IMF) meeting. During the meeting, various items were briefly discussed such as the financial economic situation of both countries, the two countries' fiscal systems and emerging economic opportunities for both island nations such as medical tourism and off-shore educational facilities.
