The community-service-based organization collected non-perishable items from customers shopping at the supermarket.
The items collected are then given to the local Red Cross to distribute in the event of a hurricane or natural disaster.
The next mission planned by the community organization is for September 1 at Sunny Foods Supermarket.
The 2012 Atlantic Hurricane Season has already seen six storm systems form so far for the season.
Office of Disaster Management (ODM) Paul Martens says that non-perishable foods and beverages as well as other goods are one of the essential requirements to sustain an individual or family for at least a week after a hurricane strike.
ODM is calling on the community to make sure everybody has everything in place and are storm ready.
The remaining names of potential storms for the 2012 season are: Gordon, Helene, Isaac, Joyce, Kirk, Leslie, Michael, Nadine, Oscar, Patty, Rafael, Sandy, Tony, Valerie and William.
The hurricane season runs through November 30.
