Radio personality Gee Money arrested on Friday morning.

Philipsburg:--- Police arrested well known radio personality Gee Money as a suspect of assault in the Festival Village early Friday morning. SMN News learnt that Gee Money assaulted a radio personality from PJD2. Eyewitnesses identified the victim as Glenfield Gibson, DJ of the early morning children's show that is aired on Saturday mornings.
According to eyewitnesses, Gibson was bleeding from his face in the VIP stands of Festival Village and he is expected to file charges against Gee Money today. Several persons who attended the show said they don't know what provoked Gee Money. "Gee Money is a cool and loving person, all we saw is the police taking him out of the village in shackles while Gibson was bleeding from his face."
SMN News further learnt that Gibson has three stitches from the injury he received during the alleged beating from Gee Money.
It should be noted that the police and prosecutor's office have implemented their Zero Tolerance Policy during the carnival season. According to the Zero Tolerance policy, all persons that are involved in fights, fracas, or anything that warrants police intervention and is arrested at the Festival Village will remain in custody until after the carnival celebrations. Chief Prosecutor Hans Mos said the Zero Tolerance Policy was published and it is in effect. However, in the case of Gee Money, Mos said he has not yet seen or spoken to the suspect that is in police custody. "I don't know if this person will have to go before the judge of instruction or if he will remain behind bars until after Carnival. I simply don't know and I will only know that after I speak to the person behind bars," Mos said.
