Philipsburg:--- The St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation (SCDF) recently met with its counterparts in Saba namely, the Saba Cultural Foundation (SCF). President of the SCDF Stuart Johnson went on a working visit to explore the possibilities for a working relationship between the respective organizations. "We discussed many areas of mutual interested and ways we could jointly work together," Johnson said. Prior to this initial working visit to Saba, Johnson and President of the SCF met on St. Maarten to commence the working relationship. "We are available for advice always against the backdrop of our unconditional support to the SCF," he said. Johnson expressed his best wishes to Mr. Charles and his team as they continue to plan Saba Summer Festival 2012. Saba Summer Festival will run from July 23 to July 29, 2012.
"Besides the SCF, we are also finalizing our working relationships with our counterparts in St. Eustatius and Anguilla, amongst others," Johnson said.
"We are already making the needed preparations for Carnival 2013 and we are looking forward to the overwhelming support from our carnival lovers, once again," Johnson concluded.
