Marigot: --- The students of the Lycee Polyvalent participated in a march on Thursday in support of the ongoing strike in Paris with the pensioners reform which will be go to the Senate sometime next week.According to reports reaching SMN News the Lycee students marched through the streets of Marigot to the Collectivity of St Martin where they made their grievances known. It is also understood the students met with president Frans Gumbs where they denounced some of the problems facing the Lycee. Thursday's march was peaceful and no one in the community was injured. It is believed that the students felt that this would be a prime moment for them to capitalize on the pension's reform to make their own voices heard.
