Philipsburg:--- The Secretary General of Interpol Ronald Noble paid a courtesy visit to the Prime Minister of St. Maarten Sarah Wescot Williams on Wednesday. SMN News learnt that the Secretary General has been very impressed with St. Maarten's acceptance in Interpol and he is even more pleased with the conference held on St. Maarten recently. Chief Commissioner of Police Peter de Witte and Inspector Rudolph Bloieman accompanied Noble to the Prime Minister's office. The Interpol Secretary General presented a token to the Prime Minister. Noble presented Interpol's silver commemorative medals, one of an exclusive limited set to the Prime Minister and another set to Minister of Justice Hon. Roland Duncan. The medals were minted especially for Interpol by the National Bank of Ukraine in 2011 to commemorate 10-years of Interpol's actions, following the tragic 2001 attack on the World Trade Center in New York. Minister of Justice Roland Duncan also attended the meeting which was held in the Prime Minister's office.
