Philipsburg:--- The Judge of Instruction released radio personality Gee Money of Laser 101 who was arrested two days ago for causing bodily harm to another radio personality Glenfield Gibson at the Festival Village. Chief Prosecutor Hans Mos confirmed Gee Money was released by the Judge of Instruction with conditions. Mos said Gee Money cannot go back to Festival Village for this carnival season, while he has to pick up his summons at the Prosecutor's Office to appear in court on May 30, 2012.
Mos said Gee Money confessed to hitting Gibson two hard blows over his eyes which could have caused the young man to have serious eye injuries. He said the judge took into consideration Gee Money had no other criminal record and that he is a well known public figure. Mos further explained that he could not have released Gee Money on Friday because that would have put the Zero Tolerance Policy out of place and it would have undermined his responsibility as the Chief Prosecutor of St. Maarten.
