GREAT BAY (DCOMM):--- A delegation of the Tax Department of Sint Maarten visited the Cabinet of the Minister Plenipotentiary in The Hague and made use of the Soualiga conference room to meet with Sint Maarten students.
The purpose of the visit is to recruit workers for the Tax Department in particular the Audit and Criminal Investigation Unit.
The interviewers were very positive and they are hoping to have some of the solicitants in September of this year in Sint Maarten.
The delegation also met with Sint Maarten students studying taxation law at the University of Tilburg of which some are planning to return to the country to assist in nation building.
