GREAT BAY (DCOMM):--- Last week Minister of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs and Sports Hon. Silveria Jacobs paid a site visit to the new elementary school that is currently under construction in Belvedere.
The school should be completed in time for the 2013-2014 school year. It will accommodate approximately 200 students to be housed in eight classrooms. Other amenities are a gym, library, a classroom for preschoolers and a covered play area.
The project is funded by USONA and the Government of Sint Maarten.
