Middle Region:--- On Thursday September 13th, 2012, controls of supermarkets continued in the Middle Region area. These controls were carried out by inspectors of the Economic Affairs and Community Police Officer of the District. During a control of the Stephany Supermarket, even though they were in the possession of the necessary permits/licenses, several food items including baby food had passed their expiration date. The management was told to have these items immediately removed from the shelves, which they did.
