Six Political Parties Submitted their Lists for March 18th Territorial Elections.

Marigot:--- Six political parties on the French side of the island have officially declared their candidacy for the March 18th Territorial Election. The six parties officially submitted their lists of candidates at the Prefecture of St. Martin and St. Barthelemy on Friday March 2, 2012.
Prefet Philippe Chopin has released a decree with the names of each political party and the candidates on each list that will be contesting the first round of the Territorial Election which is slated for March 18th.
They are "Team Daniel Gibbs 2012" headed by former second Vice President of the Collectivity of St. Martin Daniel Gibbs, "Saint Martin Pour Tous" headed by the former first Vice President Marthe January ép. Ogoundele Tessi, Rassemblement Respnsabilite Resusssite headed by Alain Richardson, Movement for Advancement of the People headed by Louis Mussington, Union Pour Les Progres headed by Louis Constant Fleming, and Generation Solidaire headed by the former fourth Vice President Louis Jeffry.
In the meantime, three political parties also submitted their lists to contest the March 18th Territorial Elections in St. Barthelemy. They are "Tous Pour St. Barths headed by Benoit Francois Slyvian Chauvin, St Barth D'Abord headed by Bruno Irenee Magras, and Saint Barth en Mouvement headed by Maxime Antoine Desouches.
