St. Maarten to Conduct Job Fair in the Netherlands to Fill Needed Posts.

Philipsburg:--- The Prime Minister of St. Maarten Sarah Wescot Williams announced that St. Maarten will be attending the Soualiga Event that is being coordinated by St. Maarten's Minister of Plenipotentiary in the Netherlands. The forum organized by the Soualiga is aimed at encouraging St. Maarten's students living in the Netherlands to return home upon completing their studies. The Soualiga Foundation also intends to apprise non St. Maarteners in the Netherlands on the current situation in Country St. Maarten. Prime Minister Wescot Williams said it is the intention of herself and the Minister of Education Dr. Rhoda Arrindell to attend the forum.
The Prime Minister also announced that a job fair will be held early May 2012 by "FRED" which is geared towards attracting students who recently completed their education there. She said St. Maarten will try to convince its students to return home to fill the critical vacancies that exist in government.
