GREAT BAY (DCOMM):--- On August 24 the Head of the Civil Registry Department Leona Romeo Marlin was proud to accompany seven staff members to the Court of First Instance to be sworn in as civil registrars.
The oath was carried out by Judge D.M. Thierry who ensured that all seven understood their responsibility and how that responsibility should be executed as Civil Registrars.
The oath taking process allows the department to work more efficiently as the appointment will allow the designated staff to function in various capacities as the department strives to realize the quality and standards within the area of civil registrars.
