Philipsburg:--- The SHTA is commending Minister Meyers on his latest announcement that business license requests can now be tracked online. The SHTA thinks this is a great step towards re-engineering government services and removing all the red tape, which currently acts as an impediment to business and creates an environment for corruption. This latest development will definitely assist in streamlining operations to be more efficient, customer friendly and impactful. The SHTA hopes to see more automation of government services (i.e: work, residence and building permits) leading to shorter lines and more importantly improved transparency.
