Civil Registry Dept. will no longer issue driver’s licenses to persons registered on French Saint Martin.

GREAT BAY (DCOMM):--- Head of the Civil Registry Department Leona Romeo-Marlin announced on Tuesday that the Civil Registry Department as of June 1st, 2012 will no longer issue driver's licenses to persons registered on French Saint Martin.

The aforementioned is in accordance with the Ministerial Decree issued on 07/06 2011.

All French residents with a license issued on Dutch Sint Maarten are hereby advised to take note of this.
