PHILIPSBURG:--- Registration is now open for the premier cruise industry event of the year - the 21st annual Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Cruise Conference and Trade Show - taking place Oct. 6-10, 2014 in St. Maarten.
This year's FCCA Cruise Conference and Trade Show, taking place on the cosmopolitan island of St. Maarten, will bring together more than 1,000 cruise industry partners and approximately 100 cruise decision-maker executives. The event provides a chance for cruise executives to meet with industry partners and discuss the benefits of cruise tourism.
"We're excited to welcome the 21st annual FCCA Cruise Conference to St. Maarten this year," said Edward Dest, interim director of tourism for the St. Maarten Tourist Bureau. "We recognize the cruise industry as one of our largest contributors to tourism on island and know that this high-profile event will allow us to grow and strengthen our relationships with top cruise executives," he continued.
Throughout the event's 20-year history, FCCA Member Line presidents and CEOs have been vital to the event's success and uphold its tenant to promote understanding and synergy between the cruise lines and destinations' private and public sectors.
The FCCA's mandate is to foster a better understanding of the cruise industry and to develop cooperative relationships with destination partners at both the public and private sector levels.
The FCCA Conference and Trade Show provides an opportunity to interact face-to-face with cruise line top level executives during a four-day series of meetings, workshops, social functions and other events.
