Armed robbery at bar/restaurant (KPSM Press Release.)

PHILIPSBURG:--- The Special Unit Robbery is presently investigating an armed robbery which took place on Saturday, February 10th at approximately 10.00 p.m. at Beauty Crystal Bar and Restaurant located on the Sucker Garden road. According to information one suspect dressed in dark clothing armed with a handgun walked directly up to the female manager who was busy in the kitchen at the time. The suspect threatened her with his firearm and then took her to cash register which is located in the bar section.
The suspect then stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and also threatened the customers who were in the bar. One customer was robbed of his money. After committing his act the suspect fled the scene on foot.
Three suspects arrested with a stolen vehicle.
Detectives are investigating a case involving three young men suspected of stealing Honda CRV-jeep from the Airport road. The jeep was stolen on February 9th, 2018 after a home break-in. The vehicle in question was seen driving with three men in it on Saturday, February 11th on A.J.C. Brouwers road. The police department was immediately informed of the situation and patrols were sent to intercept the vehicle. The vehicle and suspect were stopped on the Zagersgut road. The suspects were arrested and taken to the Philipsburg Police Station for question. The vehicle was confiscated for further investigation.
Police in search of witnesses.
On Thursday, September 14th, 2017 at about 5.10 p.m. a man was murdered in his home on Emancipation Drive #6 in Sint John’s Estate.
The Police are looking for an important female witness who was jogging on that day and specific time in the area of the crime scene. The Police have already spoken briefly to this female jogger (near the crime scene), however; the investigators would like an interview with this person. It is very essential to the investigation for this female jogger to come forward.
