Roses Road residents calling on Ministry of Health to deal with mosquito breeding sites.

rosesroad23042018PHILIPSBURG:--- Residents of Roses Road Cul de Sac is calling on the Minister of Health Emil Lee to deal with the mosquito breeding sites in their area.
The residents told SMN News that they went almost every government department at the Ministry of Health, VROMI and Public works seeking assistance for the breeding sites that were created after the passing of hurricane Irma. One resident said her elderly mother is plagued by the mosquitos and as such she took it on herself to knock on the doors of government to no avail. The resident said that while some of the debris were cleaned up after the passing of Irma, the drains that are clogged in the area were not cleaned. She said Roses Road has a number of potholes that have been accumulating water and have become the breeding sites for mosquitos.
