Two male passengers arrested by Alpha team at PJIA.

PHILIPSBURG:--- On Saturday, October 6th, 2018 two male suspects arriving on an Air Caraibe flight from Orly France were arrested by members of the Alpha Team operating at the Princess Juliana International Airport. Both passengers identified with initials M.D.E.K. (27) and M.A.D. (20) were subjected to a more in inspection than regularly after a member of the Alpha Team noticed their suspicious behavior at the immigration checkpoint. During the inspection of both passengers both of them had what turned out to be false ATM- and Credit cards in their possession. Neither of them could give the investigating officers a clear and acceptable explanation to whom the ATM- and Credit cards belonged to and why these cards were in their possession.
Based on the suspicion that these ATM- and Credit cards would be used to skim cash from the local ATM- machines both suspects were arrested and taken to the Police Head Quarters in Philipsburg for further questioning and remain in custody for further investigation.
