PHILIPSBURG:--- The KPSM detective Armed Robbery Unit is currently investing two armed robberies which occurred in the St.Peters area over the weekend. On Friday the 21st dispatch sent the patrol to Mini Maria Bar on Soursop Road in response to an armed robbery which had taken place. Upon arrival, the patrol was informed that two male suspects dressed in a hooded jacket entered the bar at 10:40 pm and demanded the day’s worth of cash for from the attendant.
In the case of the second robbery, which took place on Saturday 22nd June, two armed masked men entered Ho supermarket in the vicinity of St.Peters around 8:55 pm and also demanded cash from the attendant. Suspects fled the scene undetected.
Both incidents occurred without injury. No suspect has been identified or arrested in this case. The KPSM detectives are asking the community to come forward with information.
