Budget Marine supports Forever Blessed Foundation.

budgetmarine09102019PHILIPSBURG:--- The Forever Blessed Foundation started with a simple gesture of kindness that has grown into a passion for helping people. For the last sixteen years, the foundation has been collecting items such as clothing and food and distributing them to those that can put these items to good use. The foundation has grown so much that it is now looking to build a house for the kids that will also double as collection point where people can drop off and pick up goods they are in need of.
“We are happy to help the Forever Blessed Foundation. We have always said that kids are the future,” said Robbie Ferron, General Manager Budget Marine St.Maarten. “Normally we sponsor projects that assist youth in the marine industry to help grow and build this industry that is so important for our island. In this case, we were touched by the passion shown by Jenny Peterson, founder of the foundation. We built our business on passion for the sea and it’s that kind of passion that is needed to keep moving forward.”
The forever Blessed Foundation helps around 2300 kids. In 2017, after the passing of Hurricane Irma, the foundation received a certificate of appreciation from the Government of St.Maarten for assisting in the efforts to bring food and help those in need. “We are thankful for the support received from Budget Marine. It takes a lot of donations to help fulfill our goal and we hope to collect enough funds to start building soon,” mentioned Jenny Peterson.
