PHILIPSBURG:--- CC1 St. Maarten & Prime Distributors have announced their continued partnership with SXM DOET for its 5th installment set to take place on March 15th and 16th, 2019. CC1 and Prime will be donating beverages and snacks to the volunteers participating in 120 projects throughout the Dutch side of the island.
Prime Distributors, one of the largest food distributors, with brands such as Nestle, Kraft & P&G & CC1 St. Maarten one of the largest beverage distributors, currently selling some of the top brands in the market including Coca-Cola, Dasani, Canada Dry and Snapple ,Corona , Presidente, Bacardi, Grey Goose among others. “CC1 St. Maarten and Prime believe in our resilient community of St. Maarten and are pleased to make an effort to assist during the 5th anniversary of the SXM DOET volunteer campaign,” says Agnetha Huijting, Senior Trade Marketing Coordinator of CC1 St. Maarten. CC1 has been partaking in the community service event since 2017 by playing an active role in the projects directly and with their in-kind donations.
SXM DOET projects vary in scope and there is something for every skill set and every age. On the sxmdoet.com website interested volunteers can choose what types of projects they prefer, whether it be painting, renovating, gardening, or chaperoning a social outing. They can also choose whether they’d like to participate on the Friday or Saturday. Last year SXM DOET saw approximately 1,800 volunteers come out to 108 projects in the two days of the event.
