Pond Island:--- TelEm Group is proud to be the provider of internet, mobile and data services to International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Conference now under way in Maho.
At the request of TelEm Group Shareholder Representative, Prime Minister, Mrs. Sarah Wescot-Williams, the company is providing a package of services which includes internet bandwidth at 10mbs and pre-paid phone lines for internal and external communication.
TelEm Group Chief Financial Officer, Mrs. Helma Etnel says, as the incumbent telecommunication provider for St. Maarten, the company is pleased to assist government in its request to provide telecommunication services to the ICAO Conference in Maho, as an economic partner in the St. Maarten community.
"It is not always possible to grant every request, but whenever it is possible promote our local telecommunication services to our visitors," said Mr. Etnel.
The CFO noted that since participants come from different parts of the world with their own advanced telecommunication networks, it is important for TelEm Group to to provide nothing short of excellent service to the conference guests.
Mrs. Etnel is in the meantime thankful to TelEm Group Technical, Marketing and Sales personnel for making the necessary arrangements and connections for the conference.
