POND ISLAND:--- TelEm Group's Sales team recently took delivery of five brand new vehicles to better serve the company's business and residential clients in 2014.
The vehicles were purchased from a local vendor and were quickly put into service on the first business day of the year 2014.
Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Brian Mingo (center) and Manager, Marketing & Sales, Mr. Emile van der Weerd (right) were on hand to accept the vehicles on behalf of the Commercial Department. The vehicles will be distributed to the Sales team, two of whom, David Evans (3rd from left) and Cherrelyn Jermain (3rd from right) were also present along with Manager Sales, Mrs. Lucrecia P. Lynch, (2nd from left) during a short handing over ceremony.
Also present were Manager, Purchasing and Vehicles, (2nd from right), Mr. Olav Reed and Vehicles Officer, Mr. Conrad Richardson (left).
"We are delighted that management has approved the purchase of five brand new vehicles in our favorite red color so that our sales team can work with the tools they deserve," said Mr. van der Weerd.
He said the new vehicles are a great morale booster to the department's Account Managers, who are planning more face to face contact with customers and clients in their 2014 sales drive.
