Political Parties Given Two Days to remove all Political Paraphernalia from round-a-bouts.

partylogos28072014PHILIPSBURG:--- The six political parties contesting the 2014 Parliamentary Elections were given two days in which they must remove all political paraphernalia from all round-a-bouts on St. Maarten.
Reliable sources told SMN News that Minister of Justice Dennis Richardson held talks with the various political parties after some of them claimed that the policy made by the Minister of Justice is not clear enough. "Discussions were held on the various points and one thing that was made clear to the political parties is that they are not to place any campaign paraphernalia at the various round-a-bouts. They were given two days to remove these materials and if they do not comply with the orders and the policy in place then workers from the Ministry of VROMI will have one day to remove all political paraphernalia from the various round-a-bouts that still have these materials, one of the round-a-bouts that was mentioned is the one on Sucker Garden Road leading into Philipsburg."
