No political talks took place
PHILIPSBURG:--- Minister of Health, Labor and Social Affairs Cornelius de Weever attended the Council of Ministers meeting on Tuesday, confirmed Prime Minister of St. Maarten Sarah Wescot Williams. The Prime Minister said the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs is also fully operational.
She confirmed that to date the Minister did not resign from the Democratic Party and that she did not have any talks with him regarding the current political developments. While it is customary for the Minister of Public Health and Labor to attend the Council of Ministers weekly press briefing he did not attend on Wednesday.
