PwC emphasizes her brand presence in St. Maarten

PwC celebrates the opening of the new office entrance together with clients and relations

PHILIPSBURG:---- On Friday 22 May 2015, PwC officially opened her new office entrance at Emmaplein Building in Phillipsburg during a festive celebration with clients and relations. Prime Minister Marcel Gumbs attended the celebration and gave a short speech to congratulate PwC. The modern new entrance is designed by local architect Studiomart and emphasizes the PwC brand in St. Maarten.

Established in 1967, PwC was one of the first financial professional services firms in St. Maarten. Since the beginning the office has always been very involved in the local community. "We find it important to build lasting relations and create value for our clients, our relations and our community. That is what the PwC brand stands for. We believe in the future of St. Maarten and our ambition is to remain the most prominent player in the local market place and give back to our community." states Paul van Vliet, Director PwC Dutch Caribbean.

In addition to PwC's celebration, PwC donated a cheque for US$ 2500 to the White Yellow Cross Foundation (WYCF). The WYCF is looking to purchase a fundus camera which is used to make photographs of the interior of the human eye. This technology is used for the screening of Retinopathy in persons with Diabetes and/or Hypertension. With this donation, PwC is supporting the eye screening project from the WYCF.
