Party remains steadfast on their decision to remove Minister of Justice from Office
PHILIPSBURG:--- The members of the USP board headed by MP Frans Richardson have decided that the party leader MP Frans Richardson will meet with the Minister of Justice Dennis Richardson early next week as SMN News reported earlier. The decision was taken by the board Thursday night when the board met to discuss the grievances they have with the current Minister of Justice.
According to the information SMN News received is that MP Richardson will meet with the Minister of Justice after the tripartite conference that is currently being held on the island.
The USP board believes that they must be respected and be involved with how he manages the Ministry of Justice.
According to information SMN News received is that the leader of the USP who has the justice portfolio for some time now even though they are the ones in charge of the Justice Ministry. SMN News further understands that the main reason MP Richardson will be meeting with the Minister of Justice is to inform him personally that they will remove him from his post as Minister of Justice.
