Harbour View:--- On January 22nd, 2016, His Excellency the Governor of Sint Maarten, drs. E.B. Holiday, received the final documentation regarding the appointment of a new minister of the Marlin cabinet. The Prime Minister has nominated Mr. Edson G. Kirindongo for appointment as new Minister of Justice.
The vetting of the nominated Minister, based on the pertinent regulations regulating the appointment of ministers, has not produced any data that could impede his appointment and swearing-in.
The Governor has scheduled the appointment and swearing-in of the new Minister on Tuesday, January 26th, 2016, 09.30 hours, at the Governor’s Cabinet.
