PHILIPSBURG:--- Member of Parliament (MP) Leona Marlin ROMEO is contented with the votes received as each of them was obtained honestly.
During the campaign trail, Marlin ROMEO consistently talked about the importance of valuing one's vote and refused to participate in vote buying.
It is for this reason the 191 votes received were most appreciated. Marlin-Romeo thanked her support base which was her family, church and support team for a flawless campaign.
The voters of Sint Maarten have made their choice and this must be respected stated Marlin-Romeo. Elections are over and it is time to put our differences aside and work in the interest of Sint Maarten stated the MP.
The Member of Parliament plans to continue being the people's voice and is still committed to protecting Sint Maarten.
