PHILIPSBURG:--- The Minister responsible for Housing and Spatial Planning Christopher Emmanuel confirmed on Wednesday that he is still busy working on getting some members that were appointed to the board St. Maarten Housing Development Foundation (SMHDF) to vacate their positions.
The Minister said he is making progress slowly, he said at least three members have agreed to make their positions available but they have not yet done so.
Residents that have been occupying homes that are managed by SMHDF have been crying out loud for quite some time about the mismanagement from the management team and the board of SMHDF.
