CUL DE SAC:--- The Management of St. Maarten Academy would like to inform all students who will be graduating next month that rehearsals will begin on Saturday, November 18 at 6:00pm in the school's courtyard.
St. Maarten Academy will be hosting this year's ceremony under the theme "You are the Architect of Your Life. Design It! Build It! Live It!"
Among the graduands who will be celebrated this year are Jacinth Hunkins, who ranked first in the region for CSEC Music; and Jesus Mateo Bejarano Ortiz, who copped the first ever ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) award for Principles of Accounts on St. Maarten.
Eighty-five Form 5 students will be graduating after sitting the May/June 2017 regional Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations offered by the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC), as well as 12 students who have completed their Associate's degree in the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE).
