Be the Change continues to assist post Irma.

PHILIPSBURG:--- Sunday, February 12, 2018, was a busy day for Be The Change volunteers. We were on the road with our bus, distributing donated items to the elderly and needy in our community. Many people still need basic necessities.

Be The Change asked on their Facebook page for people to send names and addresses of those in need, and the response was overwhelming.
On Sunday we were able to distribute to many people in Belvedere, Dutch Quarter, and Middle Region.
We will be distributing more in the future as supplies are received.

We would like to thank the Sons and Daughters of Anguilla in New Jersey, and Lisa Richardson Hall, for donating the items. As they were putting together barrels for their people in Anguilla, they included St Maarten also. We are grateful.
We also would like to thank Nicole DeWeever and Art Saves Lives for the bags, and Waldo Richardson for use of his bus.
And a special thanks to Tyrone Yates, as well as our other volunteers, for their hard work.

Please visit our Be The Change Facebook page for updates on any of our activities.
