CAYHILL:--- The St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) will be hosting free Clinical Breast Examinations this Saturday, October 27th in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. SMMC has partnered once again with the Positive Foundation and the Electralytes Foundation for this event.
The event will take place in the Out Patient department from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm and will feature presentations by our Radiologist, Dr. Brice Watinou and Chemo-therapy nurse, Jasmine Cijntje. These presentations will start at 5:00 pm.
Visitors will be examined by SMMC specialists and ER doctors who will be assisted by students of the American University of the Caribbean (AUC).
SMMC encourages all women to come out and take this opportunity to get their screenings done.
