PHILIPSBURG:---The detective team in charge of the shooting of one male victim at ACE Mega Center in Cole Bay on Monday, April 29th have arrested two male suspects in this case. The first arrest was of a man identified with initials D.J. (25) on the same day of the incident. The second arrest took place on the 30th of April of a man identified with initials M.D.B.T. (51). Both suspects remain in custody as the investigation continues.
Suspect arrested for destruction
On Monday, April 29th one male suspect identified with initials M.A.J. on the male suspect was arrested by detectives for the destruction of property belonging to his father. The suspect destroyed the windows of the vehicle belonging to the victim. The reason why this incident took place is still under investigation and the suspect remains in custody.
Two arrested for ill-treatment with a weapon
Two male suspects identified with initials F.C and S.C. were arrested by police on Monday, April 29th, during the Grand Parade for ill-treatment with a weapon of a male victim identified with initials C.S. The victim was stabbed in his upper body. He was taken to the Sint Maarten Medical center for medical treatment. Both suspects were taken to the Police Head Quarters for questioning and remain in custody for further investigation.
