PHILIPSBURG:--- An administrative staff from the St. Maarten Academy (PSVE) is currently in Police custody as he is suspected of bribery and falsifying documents. SMN News learned that Woods who is part of the administrative staff have been falsifying school documents and letters and giving it to parents upon request for payment.
SMN News further learned that the FAVE School Board filed a complaint last week and he was arrested on Thursday.
Woods who was also a staff at the Milton Pieters College (MPC) was fired when the school principal discovered he was stealing the school fees. Sources say that Woods was allegedly stealing from MPC for years before he was caught and admitted after an audit was done bt SVOBE.
Chief of Police Carl John confirmed that the suspect is in police custody as they investigate a case regarding bribery and fraudulent documents.

During controls, the Sint Maarten Police Force arrested numerous persons with illegal drivers licenses, who were interrogated and fined. The detectives started an investigation into the origin of these illegal documents.
In the morning hours of Thursday, June 27th, 2019, suspect P.M.W., the owner of a driving school and residing in the “Zorg en Rust” neighborhood in Dutch Quarter, was arrested by the detectives in connection with forgery of documents.
With the permission of the Judge of Instruction, and in the presence of the Public Prosecutor, the house of suspect P.M.W. was searched. An undisclosed amount of falsified documents and some data carriers were found and confiscated. The suspect remains under arrest for further investigation.
