PHILIPSBURG:--- As we are now in the peak of the hurricane season, the Public Prosecutor’s Office met with partners in the justice chain, namely Foundation Judicial Institutes St. Maarten, the Court House and the Court of Guardianship to discuss a line of communication pre and post a hurricane. All parties learned from the experience of Hurricane Irma and therefore made steps to ensure a smooth working process. It was agreed that the above-mentioned parties will meet prior to a hurricane to discuss steps forward.
