PHILIPSBURG:--- On Friday, December 6, 2019, the Council of Ministers (COM) met with a delegation from the Social and Health Insurances (SZV) to receive both a general and financial update from the organization.

“While there are other areas that need improvement, SZV is already taking the step to at least work towards proving better service for Country Sint Maarten in many different aspects. There are still other aspects to look into, but these will be dealt with as we go along considering that this is the initial phase,” Minister Gordon-Carty added.
The Council of Ministers was informed of the general and financial challenges faced by the SZV, along with the current and proposed solutions to these challenges.
